Distribution Supervisor, 2nd Shift-Onsite

As a Distribution Supervisor, you’ll be part of our Jackson team working as an on-site employee. You’ll get to:

• Ensure safety of employees via active safety culture management, policy enforcement, and assisting in developing improvements to our business
• Maintain a personnel structure and staffing level to accomplish the department’s mission in an effective and efficient manner
• Plan and coordinate work by performing time studies, cost analysis, or other means as necessary
• Train and motivate; monitor and evaluate performance of associates in the department
• Ensure associates ability to safely operate material handling equipment to move materials to and from storage configurations
• Effectively build relationships and trust with the team to successfully execute daily/weekly/monthly goals
• Develop Team Leaders to effectively oversee the daily routines of their assigned associates
• Monitor, measure, and document department performance for cost, labor, and productivity requirements
• Work with Human Resources to select employees through the hiring process, administer policies and procedures, monitor performance/attendance/time, resolve associate relation issues, coach, counsel and apply discipline consistently up to termination

• Bachelor’s degree preferred; minimum requirement of associate’s degree
• Minimum 3+ years’ experience in a warehouse, distribution, or manufacturing setting
• Minimum 1+ years’ recent relevant leadership experience
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
• Experience with inventory or warehouse software, databases, and other systems including SAP and WMS preferred
