As the Plant Warehouse Manager at our Jackson Plant, you will be responsible for delivering site goals and results. From warehouse coordination to managing the onsite 3PL Organization, daily success will be shaped by you.
A Taste of What You’ll Be Doing- Direction Setting – Single point of contact for the onsite 3PL Organization that is responsible for the delivery of critical KPI’s such as Safety, Quality, Cost and Inventory Variances. Ensure all Warehouse processes and procedures are documented and followed.
- Coaching & Development – You will be the primary contact for the DLx warehouse management system including coaching, training and capability building to meet the business objectives.
- Warehouse Management – Manage site-wide warehouse space strategy for materials and finished product storage, including outside storage facilities and space optimization analysis as required.
- Budget Management – Site owner for the budgeting processes associated with the onsite 3PL provider and savings opportunities.
- Continuous Improvement Mindset – Think broadly while you manage the onsite 3PL provider to enable the lowest supply chain cost and deliver quality work. You will lead loss analysis activities to ensure cost effectiveness, eliminate losses & seek out areas of opportunity.
- High School Diploma or GED
- Demonstrated ability to effectively lead & motivate others across functions & organizational boundaries in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to manage risk & conflict
- Strong problem‑solving, negotiating & decision‑making skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and SAP
- Ability to create, maintain and adhere to budget guidelines and financial targets
- Experience managing & leading teams in a manufacturing setting.
- Project Management using your time management and goal‑oriented skills to provide leadership and support on distribution-focused projects. You will create and maintain budgets as well as oversee adherence to budgetary guidelines and financial targets.
- Vendor Relationships as you’ll be flexing your relationship‑building skills as you manage our partners who help our logistics operations.
