Hours: Full-Time, 830am - 5pm with flexibility
Compensation: $68,000 - $82,000/year

Position Summary
The Accountant will play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records, supporting month-end and year-end close processes, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and company policies. This position will work closely with various departments to provide financial support, reporting, and analysis that contribute to informed business decisions.
Key Responsibilities
General Accounting & Financial Reporting
- Prepare and maintain accurate journal entries and general ledger reconciliations.
- Assist with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities.
- Prepare financial statements and supporting schedules.
- Analyze financial data and identify discrepancies or areas requiring attention.
- Maintain compliance with internal controls and accounting policies.
Accounts Reconciliation & Analysis
- Perform balance sheet account reconciliations and investigate variances.
- Monitor transactions to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Support budgeting and forecasting processes through financial analysis.
- Assist with cash flow reporting and account monitoring.
Audit & Compliance Support
- Support internal and external audit requests by providing required documentation.
- Ensure financial records are maintained in accordance with company policies and accounting standards.
- Assist with tax-related reporting and regulatory compliance requirements as needed.
Process Improvement & Collaboration
- Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and increase efficiency.
- Partner with internal teams to resolve accounting issues and support business initiatives.
- Contribute to special projects and ad hoc financial reporting requests.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 2+ years of accounting experience in a corporate, public accounting, or related environment.
- Strong understanding of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
- Experience with general ledger accounting, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software systems.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational and analytical skills.
Desired Skills & Competencies
- CPA designation or progress toward certification preferred.
- Experience with ERP systems such as Net Suite, Dynamics, SAP, or similar platforms.
- Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work cross-functionally.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
