Financial Reporting Manager

WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION:
- Lead and implement the timely and accurate preparation of all financial statements for external use in accordance with SEC and U.S. GAAP requirements
- Lead quarterly financial reviews and annual audit process
- Research, evaluate and document technical accounting implications of complex or non-standard transactions
- Keep current on proposed accounting and SEC reporting matters
- Maintain global accounting policies and procedures
- Support acquisition due diligence and integration
- Lead annual goodwill and intangibles impairment analysis
- Lead all aspects of accounting for complex areas
- Partner with FP&A, Legal, and Investor Relations
- Identify and implement continuous improvements
- Partner and complete other finance related projects
YOU HAVE:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance required. CPA certification preferred
- 6+ years of progressive experience either in a Big 4 public accounting firm or a combination of public accounting and industry experience required
- SEC reporting and technical accounting experience preferred
- Strong U.S. GAAP technical accounting and SEC reporting foundation
- Strong advisory/consultative skills with a service attitude
- Ability to identify, advance and respond quickly to unexpected challenges and opportunities
- Strong writing, presentation and communication skills
- Ability to effectively lead, inspire and develop team members
- A high level of accountability, ownership and comfort leading through change
- Must be able to maintain a high degree of confidentiality

Pay Transparency nVent's pay scale is based on the expected range of base pay for this job and the employee's work location. Employee pay within this range will be based on a combination of factors including knowledge, skills, abilities, experience, education, and performance. Where federal, state, or local minimum wage requirements exist, employee pay will comply. Compensation Range: $ - $ Depending on the position offered, employee may be eligible for other forms of compensation, such as annual incentives.
