Responsibilities- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons aligned with district and state standards.
- Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse learning needs of all students.
- Integrate technology and innovative teaching strategies to enhance learning.
- Develop and implement culturally relevant and responsive teaching practices.
- Utilize a variety of instructional methods to accommodate different learning styles.
- Establish and maintain a positive, inclusive, and respectful classroom environment.
- Implement school and district behavior expectations using positive behavior supports.
- Build strong relationships with students, fostering their academic and social-emotional growth.
- Address individual student needs through intervention strategies and support plans.
- Foster student independence, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Use formative and summative assessments to monitor student progress.
- Analyze student performance data to inform instruction and differentiate support.
- Provide timely, constructive feedback to students to guide their learning.

- Communicate effectively with parents, caregivers, and community members.
- Maintain compliance with school policies, procedures, and state regulations.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the principal or school leadership team.
- Understanding of child development, learning theories, and best practices in elementary education.
- Knowledge of district, state, and national academic standards and curriculum frameworks.
- Familiarity with culturally responsive teaching and equity-driven instructional practices.
- Proficiency in differentiated instruction to support diverse learners for all students.
- Knowledge of formative and summative assessment strategies to monitor and enhance student learning.
- Awareness of social-emotional learning (SEL) principles and trauma-informed teaching practices.
- Understanding of technology integration to enhance instruction and student engagement.
- Familiarity with positive behavior interventions and supports (PBIS) and restorative practices.
- Strong instructional planning and classroom management skills.
- Ability to design engaging, student-centered lessons that promote critical thinking and problem-solving.
