Overview
Data Center Assistant Project Manager – (191493). HDR is seeking an Assistant Project Manager for the Building Engineering Services group located in Minnesota. The role focuses on Tech/Media/Telecom, Data Centers, and Mission Critical buildings and infrastructure within an integrated facility and infrastructure design team (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, Structural and Site Civil Engineering).
Responsibilities- Coordinate work of single or multi-discipline teams throughout the project’s life cycle (from development and initiation to close-out), under the supervision of a Project Manager
- Responsible for many aspects of a small project or a single aspect of a larger project
- Produce and coordinate several projects concurrently
- Coordinate staffing and workload through the entire project life cycle, and ensure completion of deliverables on schedule
- Track financial aspects of projects, and coordinate and adjust work effort with the team to ensure work is completed within the parameters of the agreed-to budget and schedule
- Work with Accounting, Operational and Business leadership for periodic project reviews
- Implement QA/QC procedures
- Perform other duties as needed
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in related field
- 5 years related experience
- Ability to interact with various design teams; excellent organizational, project management and communication (written and verbal) skills
- Commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture
Preferred Qualifications
- PMP certification
- Familiar with Microsoft Office, estimating and scheduling software, project management software
- Experience designing complex and large-scale healthcare, laboratory, and/or mission-critical data center facilities

The expected compensation range for this position depends upon skills, experience, education and geographical location (Stated benefits are for full-time regular positions.
Temporary and part-time roles eligible for limited benefits). Minnesota: $93,272 - $133,245
