Environmental Engineer
As the Acoustics Team Lead, you will oversee the department's operations and lead project execution, ensuring high quality, client satisfaction, and effective use of technical expertise.
Responsibilities- Assist in the responsibility for operations of production including staff development, profitability, morale, quality control and marketing support.
- May function as an Assistant Project Manager and assist in responsibility for production on projects in addition to management responsibilities.
- Assist with administrative responsibility for section staff and technical service functions, and lead and coordinate services with other sections.
- Be involved in marketing planning, proposals and interviews. Be directly involved with clients in marketing, project production and related issues.
- Assist in ensuring that all work is planned, organized, controlled and evaluated through proactive project management system
Implement, monitor and support company policy. Assist in the selection, training, development and management of technical personnel. - Work cooperatively with National Directors and marketing staff in local and national marketing and production efforts.
- Serve as an experienced acoustical and/or vibration specialist conducting analyses to develop design options or recommendations and prepare service deliverable documents
- Perform acoustical (noise/vibration) assignments requiring application of standard and non-standard techniques and procedures
- Complete projects with clear, specified objectives and limited variables
- Work independently on projects or assist more senior scientists on larger projects
- Focus on tasks including architectural acoustics, environmental noise and vibration-related analyses
- Perform other related duties as necessary
- PE or INCE Board certification
- Bachelor's degree in Acoustics, Math, Physics, Engineering, or closely related field
- A minimum of 5 years related experience
- Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to work in a team environment
- Proficiency with state-of-the-art software used to process and analyze acoustic measurement data
- Familiarity with relevant ISO and related U.S. acoustical standards
- Familiarity with current environmental noise guidance documents for acoustical analyses (FHWA, FTA, FRA, etc)
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- A minimum of 7 years experience
- Professional registration, license or certification may be required based on role
- Strong communication and listening skills
- Ability to handle multiple assignments
- Good leadership and organizational skills

The expected compensation range for this position depends upon skills, experience, education and geographical location.
(Stated benefits are for full-time regular positions. Temporary and part‑time roles eligible for limited benefits.) Minnesota: $115,469 - $164,955
