Site Civil EIT​/Coordinator

HDR’s Building Engineering Services Group seeks a Site Civil EIT/Coordinator to assist with site studies, designs, and project management for civil and site projects across Minnesota. The role supports the design of critical infrastructure for the digital age, from data centers to commercial environments, and requires strong technical skills and collaboration across mechanical, electrical, structural, and civil disciplines.

• Assist the Senior Engineer with site studies, site designs, contract documentation preparation, and graphic presentation.
• Perform overall site layout, grading, utility layout, and drainage.
• Execute routine engineering assignments using standard techniques and procedures.
• Complete projects with clear, specified objectives and limited variables.
• Handle administrative duties associated with civil/site project management.
• Work independently on small projects or support senior engineers on larger projects.
• Perform other duties as needed.

• Near full‑time in‑person work at the assigned office.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
• Proficiency with Bluebeam.
• Experience with civil engineering software such as HydroCAD, AutoTURN, and related tools.
• Engineer in Training (EIT) certificate. Candidates hired without an EIT will receive the title of "Coordinator" and will be expected to obtain their EIT for career progression.
