Site Civil Team Lead
Location:
Madison, WI and/or Milwaukee, WI.
The Site Civil Team Lead will lead a team of Site Civil Engineers, EITs, and Designers on complex engineering projects across the Technology, Media and Telecom (TMT) sector. Responsibilities include providing overall leadership, mentoring, coordinating design work, and cultivating a collaborative team culture to promote design excellence. The role will also involve marketing support, project pursuits, work plan development, quality control, recruiting, and team development.
The individual will be the lead on multiple multidisciplinary projects and may provide engineering leadership.
- Take responsibility for operations of production team including staff development, profitability, morale, quality control and marketing support.
- Take administrative responsibility for team staff and technical service functions, and lead and coordinate services with other sections.
- Be involved in marketing planning as well as proposal scope and fee development.
- Be directly involved with industrial and public clients in marketing, project production and related issues.
- See that all work is planned, organized, controlled and evaluated through proactive project management systems.
- Implement, monitor and support company policies.
- Select, train, develop and manage technical and production personnel.
- Lead coordination with multi-discipline teams.
- Work cooperatively with National Directors and marketing staff in local and national marketing and production efforts.
The ideal candidate will have experience as a Site Civil Engineer on multi‑disciplinary projects, be proficient in writing specifications, design narratives, and supporting proposals, and possess strong leadership and communication skills.
Preferred QualificationsExperience with Microsoft Office applications, Auto Cad, Civil 3D, Hydro Cad, and other civil engineering software as appropriate.
Required Qualifications- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- A minimum of 7 years experience.
- Professional registration, license or certification may be required based on role.
- Strong communication and listening skills.
- Ability to handle multiple assignments.
- Good leadership and organizational skills.
