Job Summary
RAYUS Radiology is looking for a Credit Balance Specialist to join our team. As a Credit Balance Specialist, you will coordinate, process, and audit accounts to determine posting errors and over payments and take corrective action to ensure account accuracy. This is a full‑time position, working Monday through Friday, 40 hours per week during standard corporate business hours. RAYUS now offers Daily Pay!

$18.25 - $26.39 based on direct and relevant experience.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities- Credit Balance Support (80%)
- Analyzes each credit balance to determine root cause and establishes a plan of action.
- Takes action on all payer and patient refund requests.
- Posts the appropriate adjustments to correct any errors that were created during receipt and adjustment posting to resolve the credit balance.
- Ensures appropriate documentation of refunds recorded on individual accounts.
- Completes refund requests for patient and payers when over payments occur within the timeline established by accounts payable and according to month end guidelines.
- Coordinates the supporting documentation required to accompany the refund.
- Revenue Cycle Management Support (10%)
- Responds to customer service inquiries related to refund requests.
- Assists with month‑end posting of payments when directed.
- Performs Other Duties as Assigned (10%)

- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 1+ years medical business office experience or graduate of a medical billing program.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and previous data entry experience.
