Job Description

Park Nicollet is looking to hire a Registered Nurse Supervisor to join our Internal Medicine team! Come join us as a Partner for Good and help us make an impact on the care and experience that our patients and their families receive every day.

Position Summary

Provides supervision of the daily operation of department requiring registered nursing expertise, assuring goals and objectives are obtained through the planning, implementing, and directing of programs, procedures, systems and support personnel. Utilizes a systematic approach to nursing practice incorporating assessment, planning, nursing diagnosis, implementation, and evaluation in accordance with the Nurse Practice Act, recognized professional standards and Park Nicollet policy.

The Nursing Leader serves as a visible, supportive, and approachable presence within the St. Louis Park Internal Medicine Clinic, fostering an environment where team members feel valued, engaged, and supported in their daily work. This role leads by example, demonstrating our core values through professionalism, positivity, and collaboration while partnering closely with providers and staff to ensure efficient clinic operations and exceptional patient-centered care.

The Nursing Leader plays a key role in building and sustaining a strong clinic culture by promoting teamwork, recognizing accomplishments, coaching and developing staff, and setting clear expectations. Through respectful communication, accountability, and ongoing support, this leader helps create a high-performing team dedicated to meeting the needs of the Burnsville Primary Care patient population and delivering an outstanding care experience.

Work Schedule
  • Monday-Friday
  • Clinic hours
Required Qualifications
  • Graduate from a course of study in nursing resulting in an associate degree, diploma or baccalaureate degree and at least one year related supervisory or three years related non-supervisory experience required.
  • Current state Registered Nursing License required and BLS provider status in accordance with American Heart Association (AHA) guidelines.
  • At least one year of leadership experience
Preferred Qualifications

Prior leadership in a clinic setting strongly preferred.
