Job DescriptionAs a Security Officer Access Control in St Louis Park, MN
, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor access activity, and assist tenants and visitors with professional service. Your visible presence will help to deter security-related incidents while supporting a welcoming environment.

- Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and property staff by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
- Monitor access points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, maintain visitor logs, and direct guests according to site procedures.
- Respond to access-related incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and document activities as required.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of entrances, common areas, parking facilities, and the property perimeter to help deter unauthorized access and identify security-related concerns.
- Maintain clear, professional communication with property management, tenants, and Allied Universal leadership regarding incidents, observations, and shift activities.
- Have at least six months of security-related experience.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
