NoteTo be considered, you must have manufacturing cost accounting experience, hands‑on experience with BOMs and routings in an ERP, strong standard costing and variance analysis skills, and General Ledger accounting experience. Job Description- Maintain accurate standard costs, labor rates, and overhead rates to support correct cost allocation
- Prepare weekly production, SOP, variance, and ad hoc reporting for leadership
- Analyze planned vs actual costs and investigate manufacturing variances, scrap, and rework costs
- Partner directly with production teams to identify drivers, root causes, and cost control actions
- Manage inventory accounting across two locations, including reconciliation, obsolete inventory review, and integrity of data
- Support monthly close and year‑end close with inventory analysis and supplemental reporting
- Facilitate annual physical inventories and monthly cycle counts; monitor inventory movements and process issues
- Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing to assess BOM and routing changes and their impact on cost centers
- Perform product line profitability and cost analysis to support management decisions
- Assist plant personnel with researching discrepancies and implementing preventive controls
- Contribute to special projects tied to continuous improvement and operational performance
- Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 2+ years of cost accounting experience in a manufacturing environment
- Strong experience with standard costing, variance analysis, inventory accounting, and General Ledger
- Hands‑on ERP experience and strong Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, analysis)
- Comfortable working cross‑functionally with engineering, operations, and plant leadership
- Must meet ITAR US Person requirements and pass background check and drug screen
