Controller, Accounting, Accounting Manager

Kforce has a client in Saint Louis, MO that is seeking an experienced Controller to lead our accounting function and ensure the accuracy, integrity, and timeliness of our GAAP financial statements. • Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual close across multiple entities
• Ensure timely, accurate GAAP financial reporting
• Serve as the company's technical accounting authority
• Oversee audits and act as primary liaison to external auditors and tax advisers
• Strengthen internal controls and financial risk management
• Own Net Suite and drive system/process improvements
• Lead, mentor, and develop the accounting team
• Partner closely with finance and accounting leaders and other cross‑functional leaders

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• CPA required
• 5‑7+ years accounting experience; public accounting preferred
• Strong GAAP and technical accounting expertise
• Experience with multi‑entity and inter‑company accounting
• Proven leadership, communication, and problem‑solving skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors such as education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract, and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
