The position provides hands‑on involvement in accounts payable processing, account reconciliations, and financial reporting, allowing for exposure to a broad range of accounting functions. This role also offers the chance to support process improvements and participate in special projects, providing variety beyond transactional work

Job Description

The Accounts Payable Specialist is responsible for performing accounts payable activities and supporting day‑to‑day accounting functions. This position reports to the Controller and works closely with finance leadership to ensure accurate financial records, timely processing, and effective internal controls.

Key Responsibilities
  • Entering and processing accounts payable invoices accurately and in a timely manner
  • Reconciling deposit accounts and other financial accounts
  • Maintaining records related to pledged securities to ensure sufficient collateral requirements are met
  • Preparing monthly reports for senior management and external stakeholders
  • Assisting with departmental projects focused on improving efficiency and streamlining processes
  • Providing backup support for other accounting and finance functions as needed
  • Supporting special projects and additional duties as assigned

The role requires strong attention to detail, organization, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and compliance with established procedures.
