Description
Love numbers, organization, and solving little accounting puzzles? We're looking for a detail-loving Staff Accountant to join our finance team! This is your chance to put your GAAP and GASB know-how to work in a mission-driven environment where your precision and proactive mindset help keep everything running smoothly.
What You’ll Be Doing- Post journal entries and keep the general ledger tidy
- Reconcile bank and credit card statements
- Review vendor invoices for accuracy and proper coding
- Support billing, receivables, and cash applications
- Track fixed assets and record depreciation
- Help prepare financial reports, audit schedules, and analysis projects
- Keep our Net Suite records pristine and audit-ready
- Partner with teammates to improve systems and stay ahead of deadlines

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 2+ years of accounting experience (nonprofit or government experience? Even better!)
- Working knowledge of GAAP and GASB principles
- Comfort with ERP systems (Net Suite = major plus!)
- Excel wizardry (you know your pivot tables)
- Detail-oriented with strong communication and teamwork skills
- Integrity, curiosity, and a genuine passion for getting things right
Minimum salary starts at $52,676.01 with the possibility of additional compensation based on years of experience, demonstrated skills, certifications, and education.
