Corporate Accountant

Responsibilities

Our Kforce client, located in the Saint Louis, MO area, is seeking an experienced Corporate Accountant to support core accounting functions and ensure accurate financial reporting in accordance with GAAP. This role is ideal for a detail‑oriented professional who excels in general ledger work, financial statement review, and process improvement. The client offers great benefits, salary commensurate with experience. This position will function full-time on-site, Monday to Friday.

• Maintain accounting records and ensure compliance with GAAP
• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes
• Prepare and review general ledger entries and internal financial reports
• Identify and recommend improvements to accounting processes
• Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience (including cost, budget, and tax)
• Strong Excel skills and solid understanding of GAAP
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
• Ability to work with confidential information and manage multiple deadlines

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
