Accounts Payable Specialist

Description Robert Half Finance & Accounting Contract Talent is currently seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist for a temporary position with the potential to convert to full-time. The ideal candidate will have prior experience with Coupa and the ability to quickly learn and adapt to established processes in a professional environment.

Responsibilities:

Manage accounts payable activities using the Coupa AP system

Accurately process invoices and ensure timely payments

Maintain vendor records and resolve discrepancies

Assist with month-end closing tasks related to accounts payable

Collaborate with internal teams to streamline processes and maintain compliance

Qualifications:

Previous experience with Coupa preferred

Strong accounts payable background

Ability to adapt quickly and work in a professional office environment

Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills

Education:

Accounting or Finance coursework or equivalent experience preferred

- Strong understanding of invoice coding and payment systems.

- Familiarity with ACH payment processing and check run procedures.

- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.

- Ability to work onsite in a fast-paced and highly focused office environment.

- Solid organizational and time management skills.

- Coursework or equivalent relevant experience in Accounting or Finance preferred.

- Excellent communication skills for vendor and internal team interactions.
