We’re seeking a detail-oriented Payroll Specialist to support a high-volume, multi-location payroll operation across multiple states. This role is ideal for someone who wants to work in an accounting environment while still maintaining a work‑life balance. This individual brings strong payroll compliance knowledge, and can manage the full payroll process with accuracy and professionalism. You’ll play a key role in payroll preparation and processing, reporting, reconciliations, garnishments, tax support, and maintaining documentation that keeps payroll running smoothly.

• Process payroll accurately and efficiently within the full payroll accounting cycle.
• Manage garnishments, payroll deductions, and related documentation.
• Review payroll reports for accuracy and assist with month‑end reconciliations and journal entries.
• Support tax‑related payroll functions, including reporting review and W‑2 accuracy.

• Accounting degree preferred, but not required.
• High‑volume payroll experience, preferably supporting 1,000+ employees.
• Working knowledge of journal entries, general ledger activity, account reconciliations, garnishments, payroll deductions, and compliance‑related payroll tasks.
• SAP experience highly encouraged, Paycor a plus. Solid Excel skills with strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Pay: $23/hour
