We are seeking an experienced Audit Senior / Senior Associate to lead and support audit, review, and compilation engagements for a diverse client base. This role offers the opportunity to build strong client relationships, mentor team members, and contribute to the firm’s continued growth and success.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and execute audit, review, and compilation engagements in accordance with professional standards and firm policies.
- Serve as the in-charge professional on client engagements, including planning, scheduling, coordinating fieldwork, and supervising staff.
- Review financial records, internal controls, and supporting documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance with applicable accounting standards and regulations.
- Prepare and review financial statements, work papers, audit reports, and related deliverables with a high level of accuracy and professionalism.
- Communicate engagement progress, findings, recommendations, and issues clearly and effectively with clients and firm leadership.
- Research and resolve accounting and auditing matters of moderate complexity using sound professional judgment.
- Mentor, coach, and develop staff through ongoing guidance, training, and constructive feedback.
- Identify opportunities to improve client processes and provide value-added recommendations.
- Support practice development initiatives and contribute to continuous process improvement efforts within the firm.
- Manage multiple engagements and deadlines while maintaining exceptional client service and quality standards.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field required.
- CPA license or active pursuit of CPA certification preferred.
- Public accounting experience with a strong focus on audit and attest services.
- Strong understanding of auditing standards, accounting principles, and financial reporting requirements.
- Experience leading engagements and supervising staff preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word.
- Familiarity with audit software and data analytics tools is a plus.
