Senior Auuditor

Kforce's client, a well-known organization located in the Saint Louis, MO area is seeking a Senior Auditor to support internal audit activities across a global environment.

Summary:

This role will lead audit engagements from planning through reporting, assess risk, and partner with leadership to drive process improvements. Key Responsibilities:

* Lead end-to-end audit engagements, including planning, fieldwork, and reporting

* Perform risk assessments and develop audit scope and testing approaches

* Conduct interviews, review documentation, and analyze audit evidence

* Identify control gaps and provide actionable recommendations

* Present findings to management through reports and presentations

* Partner with business leaders during opening and closing audit meetings

* Monitor audit progress and communicate status updates to leadership

* Support development of audit programs and risk assessments

* Mentor and support junior team members and global audit staff

* Build strong relationships across cross-functional stakeholders
* Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field

* 3+ years of auditing, accounting, or business analysis experience

* Internal audit experience strongly preferred

* Strong understanding of audit standards, internal controls, and accounting principles

* Advanced Excel and Microsoft Office skills

* Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities

* Proven ability to work independently and lead projects

* Professional certification (CPA, CIA, CISA, or equivalent) or in progress highly preferred
