Growing global organization is seeking an Audit Accountant to join its finance and accounting team in St. Louis. Position Overview

The Audit Accountant will lead and coordinate audit activities while supporting accounting operations, financial reporting, internal controls, and process improvements. This role is ideal for someone with public accounting audit experience who is motivated, organized, solution-oriented,
and eager to grow within a collaborative and evolving organization.

Responsibilities

Lead and coordinate company audits, including timelines, deliverables, and communication with auditors and internal teams
Support compliance with GAAP, accounting policies, and internal controls
Assist with month-end and year-end close activities, including journal entries and financial statement support
Research accounting issues and recommend solutions
Help implement and improve accounting processes, controls, and procedures
Partner cross-functionally with finance and operational teams across the organization

Qualifications

Degree in Accounting or Finance
3-5+ years of public accounting audit experience preferred
CPA preferred but not required
Strong Excel skills
Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work independently
Curious mindset with strong research and problem-solving abilities
Excellent communication and organizational skills
