Exciting opportunity for a Controller to oversee full-cycle and inventory accounting for a thriving company with over 30 years of success, located in St. Louis, MO.
Responsibilities- Oversee full-cycle accounting, including general ledger management and compliance with accounting standards
- Develop, manage, and oversee the company’s annual budget, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Perform account reconciliation, journal entries, accruals, and fixed asset management
- Prepare and present accurate financial statements and reports, offering insights to the CFO.
- Process payroll in Quick Books and manage payroll tax returns.
- Assist / manage company warehouse inventory and orders in/out of facility
- Lead and mentor a team of accounting professionals.
- Manage payroll processing, inventory accounting, and the onboarding of new employees.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including at least 2 years in a leadership role.
- Quick Books and Excel experience required.
