- Serve as a trusted advisor to individuals and businesses, providing proactive tax planning and strategic guidance.
- Lead complex federal, state, and local tax compliance engagements across a variety of entity types.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships through responsive communication and exceptional service.
- Identify tax-saving opportunities and develop tailored strategies that align with client goals.
- Review and approve complex tax returns, work papers, and supporting documentation with a high level of accuracy and technical excellence.
- Research and interpret evolving tax laws and regulations, advising clients and internal teams on implications and opportunities.
- Monitor legislative and economic developments to proactively guide clients through changing tax environments.
- Manage engagement budgets, workflow, profitability, and project timelines effectively.
- Mentor, coach, and develop tax professionals at multiple levels, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous learning.
- Provide leadership on challenging tax matters and support team members in delivering high-quality work.
- Partner with firm leadership on strategic initiatives, process improvements, and service innovation.
- Participate in client proposals, presentations, and networking initiatives to support business development efforts.
- Identify opportunities to expand client services and strengthen long‑term relationships.
- Represent the firm within professional and industry organizations to enhance visibility and thought leadership.
- CPA license required
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
- Progressive public accounting tax experience
- Deep expertise in federal, state, and local tax compliance and planning
- Experience managing complex engagements across individuals, partnerships, and corporations
- Proven leadership and team development experience
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and decision‑making skills
- Exceptional communication and relationship management abilities
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and tax software platforms
