Job Summary
This role would be based in St. Louis, Missouri, within the MOEN operating unit. This position will assist with internal control activities, including developing, monitoring, and executing internal controls and remediation actions, as well as administrative activities. This position will report to and receive directions from the Senior Director of Internal Control and Administration.
Duties/Responsibilities:- Assist in all aspects of internal control / operational process review from planning, fieldwork, reporting, and follow-up phases.
- Support the preparation of work papers.
- Follow up with process owners to ensure satisfactory disposition of audit/internal control findings.
- Participate in the implementation of recommendations and corrective actions.
- Assist in executing process improvements to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the global internal controls framework and environment, including technology improvements.
- Prepare ongoing/periodic status reports for management.
- Prepare and organize data for business requirements.
- Assist in the optimization of the Internal Control structure and processes.
- Assist in compliance with statutory reporting obligations and internal corporate policies and procedures for North America.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- Basic knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles and audit concepts, practices and procedures.
- Must be able to organize, prioritize, manage and complete multiple concurrent tasks within established time constraints.
- Ability to work independently and adjust priorities to achieve accurate and timely results.
- Ability to identify process improvement opportunities and aptitude for continuous improvement and change.
- Knowledge of Data Analytics is a plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
- Enrolled and working to achieve a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
