Our client, a leading educational and non-profit organization, is seeking a Financial and Tax Reporting Manager to join their team. As a Financial and Tax Reporting Manager, you will be part of the Finance Department supporting the organization’s financial integrity and compliance efforts. • Lead and oversee all aspects of non-payroll tax reporting and external financial reporting processes.
• Prepare work papers for annual audits, tax returns, and compliance reports, including IRS Form 990, Form 5500, and college reporting to IPEDs and the Higher Learning Commission.
• Supervise the preparation of tax returns for nonresident alien students and faculty, including multi-state tax filings.
• Manage banking functions, relationships, and reporting, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Conduct accounting and tax research, evaluate external support needs, and recommend process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business, or a related field;
  Master’s degree preferred.
• CPA certification and a minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in accounting, auditing, or financial reporting.
• Proficiency with automated accounting systems, spreadsheets, databases, and ERP platforms.
• Demonstrated knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting requirements.
