Mercy Ministry Office - Account Coordinator

Performs process oriented, clerical, or data intensive general accounting tasks, such as account analysis, reconciliations, journal entry preparation, report distribution and filing.

FT Days, Onsite

Education:

Associate degree from an accredited college or university with major emphasis in accounting or business. Or equivalent experience.

Preferred Experience:

Prefer experience with data entry, spreadsheet applications, databases, accounts payable systems and general ledger.

Assists in preparation of monthly financial statements.

Prepares accurate and timely journal entries, including complete descriptions and supporting documentation, as appropriate.

Responds to financial statement review questions to ensure identification and resolution of unusual fluctuations.

Performs data entry and uploading of journal entries as necessary.

Prepares miscellaneous invoices.

Prepares monthly invoices for physician practices and/or other parties for leased employees and other various services/supplies provided.

Responds to questions regarding invoices sent, investigate and resolve any billing issues on a timely basis.

Report distribution and filing.

Distribute various monthly financial reports on a timely basis.

Bind and file monthly journal entries and reports in an orderly fashion.

Other routine responsibilities.
