Manager Financial Reporting

Kforce's client, a publicly traded organization located in Saint Louis, MO, is seeking an experienced Manager, Financial Reporting to lead U.S GAAP and SEC reporting, technical accounting, and financial disclosure activities. This high-visibility role will partner with finance leadership, auditors, and cross-functional teams to ensure accurate financial reporting, regulatory compliance, and support for strategic business initiatives. Responsibilities:

* Lead the preparation and filing of SEC reports, including Forms 10-K, 10-Q, 11-K, and applicable 8-Ks

* Prepare financial statements

* Manage iXBRL tagging and external reporting processes

* Coordinate quarterly and annual regulatory reporting requirements

* Research and analyze complex accounting matters and emerging accounting standards

* Support financial reporting requirements related to acquisitions, divestitures, and capital market transactions

* Assist with preparation of transaction-related disclosures and supporting documentation

* Maintain and enhance internal controls over financial reporting in compliance with SOX requirements

* Serve as a primary contact for external and internal auditors on reporting matters

* Support reporting requests from executive leadership, the Board of Directors, and Audit Committee

* Review financial reporting deliverables for accuracy, completeness, and compliance

* Mentor and develop members of the financial reporting team

* Participate in strategic initiatives, including system implementations and process improvements
* Bachelor's degree in Accounting required;
Master's degree preferred

* CPA designation preferred

* 5+ years of public accounting experience with SEC clients and/or public company reporting experience

* Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, SEC reporting, and financial statement disclosures

* Experience with financial reporting and consolidation platforms preferred

* Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills

* Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and lead cross-functional initiatives
