We are currently seeking a Senior Accountant.
Job DescriptionWe are seeking a hands-on, detail-oriented Senior Accountant to support a growing, long-term healthcare organization. This role is ideal for an experienced accounting professional who enjoys owning critical accounting processes, multi-facility responsibility, and contributing to a team approach with the mission for continuous improvement in financial reporting accuracy and timeliness.
The Senior Accountant will play a key role in financial reporting, financial analysis, and process improvement, working closely with the Accounting Team.
Key Responsibilities Financial Reporting & Internal Controls- Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual close activities for multiple locations
- Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules
- Assist in the preparation of consolidated financial statements in accordance with GAAP
- Support timely and accurate reporting for executive leadership
- Maintain intercompany accounting and eliminations
- Support annual audits by preparing schedules and responding to auditor requests
- Support day-to-day accounting operations including general ledger oversight
- Assist with monthly accounting, accruals, and reconciliations
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and applicable federal and multi-state requirements
- Support documentation and compliance related to audits.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Strong understanding of GAAP and internal controls
- Experience with multi-state operations, payroll accounting, or commissions
- Hands-on experience with Sage Intacct preferred
- Experience long-term healthcare field preferred
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
- Comfortable managing multiple companies independently
- Strong organizational and time‑management skills
- Collaborative, professional communicator across departments
- Adaptable and proactive in a fast‑paced
