Patient Account Lead

Location: St. Louis

Barnes-Jewish Hospital -  - Responsibilities:
Resolves escalated problems through coordinated efforts with team members, clinical departments and revenue cycle leadership; analyzes data and manages reporting functions; addresses internal and external questions regarding revenue, cash reconciliation and claims corrections.;
Provides expertise in the area of patient accounts related to third party billing, customer service responses, charge entry, payment processing and reconciliation.;
Facilitates payor meetings; escalates payor issues among various revenue management departments to be used towards remediation efforts.;
Provides training to various functions and departments; performs accounts receivable projects and conducts audit activities for the revenue cycle.;
Ensures multi-facility revenue is accurate and meets the compliance standards of regulatory payors.
