Accounting Manager

Kforce has a client that is seeking an Accounting Manager in Saint Louis, MO.

We're seeking an Accounting Manager, Controls Professional, to help strengthen internal controls, support audits, and drive continuous improvement across Accounting and Finance. The position will be hybrid, 3 days in office, located in the Saint Louis, MO area. This client offers salary benefits and other company benefits.

Duties:

* Develop and maintain internal control frameworks and processes

* Identify risks, control gaps, and process improvement opportunities

* Support financial reporting controls, account reconciliations, and approval workflows

* Coordinate internal and external audits and remediation efforts

* Monitor access controls, segregation of duties, and compliance requirements

* Partner with Finance, Accounting, IT, and Operations teams to enhance controls and consistency

* Support SOX compliance, risk assessments, and key control testing
* Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA, CMA, or MBA preferred

* 6+ years of accounting, audit, finance, or internal controls experience

* Strong knowledge of accounting principles, internal controls, and risk management

* Advanced Excel and financial systems experience

* Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills

* Detail-oriented with a proactive, hands-on approach
