Senior Accountant

Kforce is partnering with a client in the Saint Louis, MO area to identify a Senior Accountant. This role will support the month-end close process, prepare account reconciliations, maintain fixed asset accounting, and assist with financial reporting and process improvements. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is passionate about improving accounting processes while ensuring accurate financial reporting.

Responsibilities:

* Senior Accountant will support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities, including journal entries and account reconciliations

* Maintain fixed asset records and assist with lease accounting

* Perform account analysis, investigate variances, and support accurate financial reporting

* As a Senior Accountant, you will assist with audits, internal controls, and process improvement initiatives

* Collaborate cross-functionally and support special projects as needed
* Bachelor's degree in Accounting required; CPA preferred

* 3+ years of public and/or corporate accounting experience

* Experience with month-end close, account reconciliations, general ledger, and financial reporting

* Knowledge of U.S. GAAP; fixed assets, lease accounting, manufacturing, and ERP experience are a plus

* Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and Excel skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
