Job Summary
Our client is seeking a Transactional Accounting Specialist to join the Accounts Payable Vendor Team and play a key role in managing vendor registrations and vendor changes across multiple sources. This position is responsible for ensuring vendor information is processed accurately, efficiently, and in accordance with company policies, SOX requirements, and established service-level agreements.
Core Responsibilities- Process a high volume of new vendor registrations and vendor change requests with a strong focus on accuracy and timeliness
- Review and validate vendor information to ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and SOX requirements
- Analyze and resolve complex vendor-related issues using strong logic, attention to detail, and sound judgment
- Respond professionally and promptly to internal and external customer and vendor inquiries through email while consistently meeting SLA requirements
- Identify opportunities to improve AP vendor processes, streamline workflows, and increase overall team efficiency
- Escalate complex or sensitive issues to management when appropriate
- Prioritize and complete assigned tasks within established deadlines while maintaining a high level of quality and accuracy
- Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to resolve issues and support an efficient vendor onboarding and maintenance process
- Perform additional accounting and administrative duties as assigned by management
- 4+ years of relevant accounting, accounts payable, vendor management, or transactional finance experience
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy while working in a high-volume environment
- Demonstrated ability to analyze information, identify discrepancies, and resolve complex issues
- Strong written communication skills with experience handling professional email correspondence
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while consistently meeting deadlines and SLAs
- Working knowledge of accounting processes, internal controls, and compliance requirements
- Strong problem-solving and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively with a team

- Pay Range:
The approximate pay range for this position is between $17.00 and $23.50. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to background, knowledge, skills, and location. We comply with local wage minimums. - Medical, Dental, & Vision Insurance Plans
