Payroll Administrator

Marvin is seeking a detail-oriented Payroll Administrator to support our manufacturing operations in Warroad, MN. In this role, you will process accurate, timely biweekly payroll for hourly and salaried employees, validate time and attendance data across multiple shifts, and maintain clean, compliant employee pay records. You'll calculate deductions, garnishments, and bonuses, reconcile payroll reports, and partner with HR and Finance on audits and month-end close.

Responsibilities

• Process biweekly payroll for hourly and salaried employees, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Maintain employee payroll records, including new hires, terminations, and pay changes in HRIS/payroll systems.
• Validate time and attendance data, resolve discrepancies, and support supervisors with corrections.
• Calculate and process deductions, garnishments, bonuses, and shift differentials in compliance with regulations.
• Reconcile payroll reports, prepare journal entries, and support Finance with month-end reporting.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local wage and hour, tax, and overtime regulations.
• Prepare and review payroll tax filings and year-end forms such as W-2s and assist employees with related questions.
• Respond to employee payroll inquiries with a people-first, service-oriented approach.
• Support audits by maintaining accurate documentation and providing requested payroll reports.
• Contribute to process improvements and standard work to enhance payroll accuracy, efficiency, and controls.
