Shared Services Accounting Leader

Responsibilities

Kforce is partnering with a client in the Saint Louis area to hire a Shared Services Accounting Leader. This hybrid leadership role oversees global shared services accounting operations, drives process improvements and system initiatives, and ensures accurate financial reporting and compliance. Responsibilities:

• Lead global shared services accounting operations and oversee key financial close activities
• Manage and develop a high-performing accounting team while driving operational excellence
• Partner with cross-functional leaders to support financial reporting, compliance, and strategic initiatives
• Identify process improvements, strengthen internal controls, and support finance transformation efforts, including ERP initiatives
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to enhance accounting processes and drive continuous improvement

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
• CPA, public accounting experience, and large-scale systems implementation experience are preferred
• 10+ years of progressive accounting and leadership experience
• Experience leading accounting operations, managing teams, and driving process improvements
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, internal controls, and accounting best practices

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
