Carr Lane Manufacturing Co. is seeking a hands‑on Accounting Manager to provide day‑to‑day leadership of the accounting department. This role manages the general accounting functions of a global manufacturer, supports financial reporting and budgeting, collaborates with other departments to develop and improve processes, and plays a key role in the implementation of the company’s new ERP system. The Accounting Manager may collaborate with other Carr Lane Manufacturing locations, including international locations.

• Provide hands‑on, day‑to‑day leadership of the accounting department
• Manage general accounting functions, including general ledger, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and account reconciliations
• Prepare management reporting packages
• Assist with financial statements and the annual budgeting process
• Monitor accounts receivable balances and lead collection strategies and efforts
• Oversee the accounts payable process and treasury‑related activities, and assist in developing and designing automation procedures within the AP function
• Review bank reconciliations
• Support the implementation of the new ERP system and assist in the design and implementation of improved accounting processes related to it
• Manage and develop an accounting team across multiple locations, including international sites
• Train new accounting team members
• Collaborate with other managers on cross‑departmental projects

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
• Five to ten years' experience working in accounting
• Experience leading a project and/or a team, demonstrated ability to develop a team
• Knowledge of GAAP financial reporting
• Proficiency with ERP and accounting systems
• Advanced Excel skills
• Familiarity and experience using AI tools to assist in developing reports
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

• CPA preferred
• Microsoft Dynamics 365 experience
• Sales tax knowledge a plus
