Senior Accountant

• DOTake ownership of general-ledger maintenance and ensure transactions are recorded accurately in accordance with GAAP and company policie
• s.Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management report
• s.Lead or support month-end and year-end close activities, ensuring accurate results within established deadline
• s.Perform account and balance-sheet reconciliations, investigate discrepancies, and resolve issues proactivel
• y.Prepare and post journal entries for accruals, reclassifications, and other financial adjustment
• s.Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis while providing meaningful insight into financial performanc
• e.Assist with corporate, sales, and other tax-compliance responsibilities, including calculating and filing state sales tax return
• s.Prepare documentation and serve as a resource during external audit
• s.Help maintain effective accounting policies, procedures, and internal control
• s.Manage payroll processing and support select HR functions as neede
