- Review vendor invoices for accuracy, completeness, and proper approval.
- Process accounts payable transactions and ensure vendors are paid accurately and on time.
- Reconcile vendor accounts and proactively resolve invoice and payment discrepancies.
- Monitor accounting system transactions to maintain accurate and complete financial records.
- Prepare and analyze accounts payable reports, including aging reports, daily cash reporting, and reconciliations.
- Participate in month-end close activities, including preparing accounts payable-related journal entries.
- Assist the Controller and Finance Director with internal and external audits related to purchasing and accounts payable.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, internal controls, accounting standards, and applicable regulations.
- Support other accounting functions as needed, including customer billing, accounts receivable postings, collections, expense reports, deposits, and internal financial communications.
- Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and increase efficiency.
- Maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive financial information.
- Vendor payments are accurate and processed on schedule.
- Financial records are complete, organized, and audit-ready.
- Month-end close responsibilities are completed accurately and on time.
- Discrepancies are identified, researched, and resolved proactively.
- Multiple priorities are effectively managed without sacrificing accuracy.

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum of five (5) years of accounting experience required.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting practices.
- Experience with accounts payable and general accounting responsibilities.
- Proficiency with accounting software and financial systems.
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office; advanced Excel skills are a plus.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Clear and professional written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities and consistently meet deadlines.
- High level of integrity, confidentiality, and attention to detail.

- $65,000–$80,000 per year
