Accounting & Payroll Specialist (AKA “The Bean Counter with a Big Heart”)

, we’ve been keeping St. Louis flowing for four generations —and now we need someone to help keep our books balanced and our people paid (on time, every time).

We're growing fast, and while our plumbers are out there saving the day one faucet at a time, we need someone back at HQ who loves spreadsheets more than most people love pizza (but not more than we love pizza).

• Running weekly payroll like a boss (or at least like someone who knows what a W-2 is)
• Handling accounts payable and receivable —yes, we pay our bills and cash our checks
• Reconciling bank statements (because we don’t like surprises unless it’s cake)
• Helping with basic accounting tasks like journal entries, reports, and expense tracking
• Supporting the team with HR-ish tasks, like making sure everyone gets their PTO when they’ve earned it (because heroes need rest too)

• You’ve got some experience with accounting and/or payroll—Quick Books, Gusto, ADP? We love it all
• You can handle numbers, deadlines, and the occasional dad joke
• You’re organized, detail-oriented , and allergic to typos in spreadsheets
• You thrive in a fast-paced, small business where every day’s a little different
• You’re cool with dogs in the office and snacks in the breakroom (and probably a plumber walking by singing 80s rock at 9am)
