Senior Billing Specialist

Responsibilities

Kforce's client, a growing organization in the construction industry located in the St. Louis, MO area, is seeking an experienced Senior Billing Specialist to support project-based invoicing and accounting operations within a construction-focused environment. This full-time role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has experience managing project-based billing processes. This role offers a comprehensive salary and benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, retirement plans, and additional employee programs.

This is a business casual environment, with jeans allowed - must be presentable.

• Prepare and process project invoices
• Review contracts, change orders, and billing documentation
• Manage progress billing, retainage, and final billings
• Coordinate with project teams to ensure accurate invoicing
• Resolve billing issues and maintain project records
• Support compliance documentation and job-cost adjustments

• 2+ years of billing or accounting experience
• Construction industry experience preferred
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office;
  Vista/Viewpoint experience a plus

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
