Senior Cost Accountant

As a Senior Cost Accountant, you will be responsible for overseeing the cost accounting and general ledger functions for designated manufacturing plants. This role serves as a crucial link between the plants and the headquarters finance organization, ensuring effective cost controlling and accurate financial reporting.

• Prepare plant financial budgeting and forecasting reports.
• Perform monthly closing and variance analysis.
• Ensure consistency between plants for cost expense categorization.
• Issue monthly financial KPIs for plant cost controlling.
• Prepare monthly general ledger account reconciliations.
• Develop product cost standards.
• Prepare financial data for internal and external audits.
• Manage SOX controls for areas of responsibility.
• Perform ad hoc analysis as needed.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent area of study.
• Minimum 3 years experience in manufacturing finance, plant, or cost accounting.
• Ability to work independently to successfully complete assignments.
• Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.

• R3 SAP experience in FI and CO is highly desired.
• SOX audit experience is a plus.

The work schedule is Monday through Thursday in the office, with Fridays  position observes normal business hours.

This is a Permanent position based out of Creve Coeur, MO.

The pay range for this position is $85000.00 - $117000.00/yr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligible for all ICL benefits. Insurance, 401k, etc.

This is a hybrid position in Creve Coeur,MO.

This position is anticipated to close on Sep 19, 2026.
