The Accounting Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in Wentzville, MO. This position is responsible for daily accounting activities, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciling accounts, and assisting in the preparation of financial statements. The Accounting Specialist will help maintain accurate records in accounting software, support month-end and year-end closing processes, and ensure compliance with company policies. The role also involves collaborating with sales and operations teams to verify transactions, address discrepancies, and provide clear, timely financial information to management.

• Candidates should possess strong skills in Financial Statements and Finance for accurate reporting and analysis.
• Candidates should possess proficiency in Accounting Software and Journal Entries (Accounting) for daily transaction processing.
• Candidates should possess solid Analytical Skills to interpret financial data and resolve variances.
• Attention to detail, strong organizational abilities, and reliability in handling sensitive financial information.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
• Experience in retail, dealership, or small business accounting is beneficial.
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
