Accountant, Accounts Receivable​/ Collections, Bookkeeper​/ Accounting Clerk

We are seeking an experienced Accountant to join a close-knit accounting team. This role will take ownership of key accounts receivable and billing functions, including monthly invoicing and check processing. The ideal candidate will have a strong accounting background and hands-on experience with Viewpoint Pro Contractor.

• Oversee and manage accounts receivable activities
• Prepare and process monthly customer invoicing
• Process checks and accurately record payments
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date AR and billing records
• Research and resolve billing and payment discrepancies
• Monitor outstanding receivables and support timely collection efforts
• Reconcile AR-related accounts and assist with month-end activities
• Ensure accuracy and consistency across billing and payment processes
• Collaborate with other members of the accounting team and provide support as needed

• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, with a strong focus on accounts receivable and billing
• Viewpoint Pro Contractor software experience
• Strong understanding of accounts receivable, invoicing, payment processing, and account reconciliation
• Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to independently manage responsibilities and prioritize deadlines
• Comfortable working in a small, collaborative accounting team
