Location:
Saint Louis, MO 63146. Position:
Medical Administrative Assistant. Pay Rate: 19.30/hr duration: 13 weeks. Expected Shift: 40 hrs/week, 8am to 5pm. The main office is at 2029 Woodland Parkway, Maryland Heights, MO (Visiting Nurse Association office). The role may require travel to off-site clinics across St. Louis County, St. Louis City, St. Charles County, Jefferson County (Missouri).
Our client is a large healthcare staffing provider assigned at affiliated hospitals/healthcare facilities. This client requires that all new hires show proof of vaccination. Accommodations may be made for disabilities or religious reasons that prevent vaccination.

Key duties- Supporting billing by entering patient demographics and insurance information into CureMD software.
- Verifying and organizing paper-based consent forms—scanning, checking signatures and information, and preparing documentation for third-party billing.
- Assisting nurses at clinics by reviewing patient consent forms and confirming insurance information.
- Work hours & schedule:
Office hours 8:00 a.m. to as late as 7:00 or 8:00 p.m.; desired assistance is for approximately six hours per day (flexible within office hours). - Scheduling for off-site clinic assignments will be provided at least a week in advance;
September and October’s clinic schedules are nearly finalized. - Nature of assignments:
In-office work is flexible; off-site work is scheduled; may need to travel to clinics to help with paperwork during vaccination events.
- Primary responsibilities include routine to complex administrative support functions.
- Compile information for reports or presentations; prepare charts, graphs, or tables.
- May be responsible for budget tracking and maintaining financial or personnel records and databases.
- Respond to correspondence; edit and proofread documents.
- Communicate with others in person, by telephone, and/or by email. May receive and screen visitors and handle general inquiries.
- Assist with preparing for and facilitating meetings, conferences, programs and/or special events.
- Establish and maintain filing systems; order and stock supplies.
- Enter information from various sources into computer databases and verify data by checking printouts/reports for errors.
- Work under clearly defined procedures with limited discretion, and under close supervision.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- High School diploma/GED or 10 years of work experience.
- Experience in administrative support and familiarity with medical office workflows is implied by responsibilities.
