Missouri Baptist Medical Center is seeking an Administrative Coordinator for the Outpatient Services Team.
Key responsibilities include:
- Patient scheduling for the pre-anesthesia testing clinic
- Chart assembly for the Operating Room for day of surgery
- Setting up interpretive services as needed
- Coordination of office supplies
This role is essential in ensuring smooth operations within the outpatient services and may have some administrative responsibilities for the OR Team. Previous experience in pre-op testing scheduling or surgery scheduling is a plus!
Monday-Friday, onsite with hours of 7a-3:30p.
OverviewMissouri Baptist Medical Center, an acute care hospital in St. Louis County, offers a full continuum of medical and surgical services, including heart care, cancer, women and infants, breast health, gastrointestinal, orthopedic, stroke, therapy, wound and pain management services. The hospital has a 24-hour adult emergency department and cares for pediatric patients at a separate emergency department in collaboration with St.
Louis Children’s Hospital.

The Outpatient Services department is responsible for the scheduling and registration of patients receiving outpatient treatment or diagnostics at Missouri Baptist Medical Center.
Preferred QualificationsRole Purpose
Provides administrative support to the department(s) as assigned. Additionally, the role coordinates special/specific projects and programs as per department management.
Responsibilities
- Types and distributes memos, correspondence and reports and composes documents as needed.
- Coordinates and administers all office supplies and materials.
- Schedules meetings and appointments, routes correspondence.
- Provides support to office assistants as assigned.
Minimum Requirements
Education
- High School Diploma or GED
Experience
- 2-5 years
