Position Summary:
We are seeking a driven, organized, and growth-oriented Assistant Administrator to support the Licensed Nursing Home Administrator (LNHA) in the overall leadership and daily operations of our skilled nursing facility. This role is ideal for an emerging healthcare leader who is passionate about long-term care.
The Assistant Administrator plays a key role in ensuring regulatory compliance, operational efficiency, staff engagement, and exceptional resident care.
Assistant AdministratorKey Responsibilities:
- Assist the LNHA in overseeing daily facility operations
- Support compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations
- Monitor departmental performance and assist with process improvements
- Support HR functions including recruitment, onboarding, and retention initiatives
- Assist with survey preparedness and plan of correction implementation
- Collaborate with clinical leadership to promote quality care outcomes
- Maintain positive relationships with residents, families, and community partners
- Step into leadership responsibilities in the Administrator’s absence as appropriate
- Any other responsibilities assigned by the Administrator
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in long-term care or skilled nursing (preferred)
- Strong knowledge of regulatory compliance in healthcare settings
- Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Ambitious and career-driven with long-term goals in healthcare leadership
- Detail-oriented and compliance-focused
- Strong problem-solver with critical thinking skills
- Team-oriented with the ability to motivate and support staff
- Calm and effective under pressure
