The Administrative Assistant to the Director of Athletics provides comprehensive administrative support to the Director of Athletics and the athletic department. This role involves managing day-to-day operations, coordinating schedules, handling communication, and ensuring the efficient functioning of the office.

Essential Duties

Administrative Support

* Manage the Director of Athletics' calendar, schedule meetings, and coordinate travel arrangements.

* Prepare and edit correspondence, reports, presentations, and other documents.

* Handle incoming calls, emails, and other communications, ensuring timely responses.

* Maintain and organize electronic and physical files and records.

Office Management

* Oversee office supplies inventory and place orders as necessary.

* Coordinate office maintenance and repair needs.

Assist with the planning and execution of department events and meetings.

Communication and Coordination

* Serve as the primary point of contact between the Director of Athletics and internal/external stakeholders.

* Coordinate communication and information flow within the athletics department.

* Support interdepartmental collaboration by facilitating effective communication.

Minimum Education /Experience

High School diploma and 3 years of administrative/office or related experience

Preferred Education/Experience

Bachelor's degree in business administration, sports management, communications, or a related field. 5 years of administrative experience, with demonstrated proficiency in supporting senior level executives, preferably in a collegiate athletics or similar environment.
