Within University Advancement, Philanthropic Strategy teams partner with their respective schools or initiative to establish strategic fundraising priorities, develop and advance donor strategies, engage leadership in fundraising activities, and create stewardship and engagement opportunities for prospects and volunteers.
The Advancement Coordinator within the Philanthropic Strategy Team of University Advancement, assists one or more of the school or initiative-focused teams by providing operational and administrative support. The Advancement Coordinator helps advance fundraising progress from top prospects by managing dashboards, tracking task execution across UA teams, and coordinating leadership travel logistics and donor materials. The coordinator will be key to prospect strategy execution by preparing briefing materials and facilitating post-meeting follow up steps.
While working with a specific team(s), this position reports to the Senior Manager of Support Services, Philanthropic Strategy and is part of an overall administrative support service team for Philanthropic Strategy.

** Job Description
**** Primary
Duties & Responsibilities:
*** Provide administrative and operational support focused on the management of the unit’s top prospects and dean’s portfolio.
* Review and facilitate the team’s support of active and planned philanthropic proposals designated to the unit, and related actions needed.
* Manage and update dashboards; track and coordinate execution of tasks to drive accountability of colleagues across UA.
* Organize and attend internal meetings with territory gift officers to strategize and plan dean travel and visits.
* Facilitate post-meeting follow up by coordinating next steps and adjustments to strategy.
* Maintain reporting documents for gift officer requests for Dean visits, including recommended prospects, prospects approved for outreach.
* Coordinate logistics of ongoing Executive Director and Dean donor meetings and travel, including strategic itineraries, researching, writing and organizing prospect briefings, working across UA to assemble, consolidate, and organize collateral materials, and ensuring appropriate follow-up. This will often be in partnership with staff in the Dean’s office.
* Maintain UA school team’s internal presence on the intranet.
* Maintain UA school team’s MS Teams team and channels.
* Support the goals of the Philanthropic Strategy vertical with other duties as assigned.
