Position: Administrative Assistant (Hybrid) - Otolaryngology
Location: St. Louis

Position Summary

Provides general office, document preparation and administrative support for an individual, department, office or designated staff group. Hybrid after in‑office training period.

Primary

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Provides administrative assistance to multiple faculty members.
  • Maintains faculty calendars and schedules meetings in person and virtual.
  • Assists with conference registration, travel arrangements and expense reimbursements according to guidelines.
  • Maintains physician curriculum vitae and Missouri/Illinois licensure.
  • Assists with physician re‑credentialing of hospital privileges every two years.
  • Prepares correspondence as needed.
  • Assists physician in completing forms, scans and faxes; prepares copies and maintains files (electronic and hard).
  • Responds to EPIC tasks as needed.
  • Answers phone, greets visitors and responds to inquiries, providing information per established guidelines or referring to appropriate individuals.
  • Receives, sorts and distributes mail.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
Working Conditions
  • Job location:

    Normal office environment; able to travel to various on‑ and off‑campus locations.
  • Three years of administrative support experience preferred.
  • Physical effort:
    Typically working at desk or table; repetitive wrist, hand or finger movement; occasional lifting (25 lbs or less).
  • Equipment:
    Office equipment.

    High school diploma or equivalent, or a combination of education and/or experience.

Salary Range

Grade G06‑H, $17.87 – $27.06 per hour. Salary is based on qualifications, performance, equity within the department, market rates and budget.
