Administrative Support
Provides general office, document preparation and administrative support for an individual, department, office or designated staff group.
Primary
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Answers phone and greets visitors; responds to inquiries and provides information using established guidelines or refer to appropriate individual.
- Types correspondence and forms; scans and faxes documents, makes copies, maintains files (electronic and hard).
- Receives, sorts and distributes mail.
- Schedules routine appointments, maintains office/department calendars and makes routine travel arrangements. Prepares travel expense reimbursement according to guidelines.
- Performs basic data entry such as invoices and purchase orders; track purchases/receipts and process for payment. Enters personnel/payroll information in HR system.
- Monitors, maintains and stocks office, toner, paper and miscellaneous supplies as needed.
- Maintains/updates contact information, directories, departmental lists, email lists, databases and website.
- Compiles applications; provides applicant information to faculty; sends correspondence to applicants; answers general questions on program/course.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

Salary Range:
$17.87 - $27.06 / Hourly The salary range reflects base salaries paid for positions in a given job grade across the University. Individual rates within the range will be determined by factors including one's qualifications and performance, equity with others in the department, market rates for positions within the same grade and department budget.
